When this book was published, this diet exploded with popularity. By 2013 and 2014, it was the most searched diet on the internet. In 2015, it showed no signs of slowing down.

How does Paleo Diet work?

This diet is based on the idea that the people are still wired with the Stone Age diet plan. People lived the healthy lifestyle before the Agricultural Revolution. This revolution just occurred 12,000 years ago.

The human fossil found earliest is 2.3 million years ago. The modern Homo sapiens have emerged 250,000 to 400,000 years ago. For these millions of years, human has lived the successful hunter-gather lifestyle, consuming only wild fruits, plants, and animals.

After 12,000 years ago, this lifestyle comes to an end and agricultural revolution takes place and human began to form nations and cities.

The Agricultural Revolution brought many advantages but it has some drawbacks of its own. This revolution brings the increased rate of illness and diseases.
